The Synergy is an extremely versatile box-section rim.  It is light enough for club riding, but stout enough for touring and cross country mountain biking.  It is available in a wide variety of sizes, and comes in an off-center version to mitigate the spoke tension disparity caused by modern cassette hubs.  The highest compliment I can give the Synergy is that if someone told me I could only use one rim for every bicycle I build–whether for myself or customers–I’d choose the Synergy.
