This is Soma branded Panaracer Pasela in 650B x 38mm. Which is good, because 650B fans have been clamoring for a 650B Pasela for years. This tire is made in two versions, but I only stock one. The skinwall version I’m stocking is a true 38mm. The “Hypertex” version is a little smaller even though it is nominally the same size. Anyone who knows their tires can conclude from that tidbit that the Hypertex casing is less supple and can’t ride as well as the skinwall pictured here. Folding bead. Made by Panaracer in Japan.
