These allow you to use any threadless stem on a bike made for 22.2 quill stems in case you want to use a threadless stem to change your stem angle, or prefer open face clamps to facilitate handlebars swaps.  Overall length is about 190mm, with 110mm above the minimum insertion line.  This adapter tapers nicely for an elegant transition between the quill and the stem, and has the same silver finish as the VO threadless stems we carry.  The adapter has approximately 50mm of adjustment between the minimum insertion point and the point at which the taper will bottom out against the headset locknut.
