Our selection of bicycles and frames focuses on do it all road bicycles that are happy on paved and unpaved roads. In general I recommend 28-32mm tires for non-racing “road” bikes.  Bicycles often or exclusively used for commuting need wider tires (somewhere around 37mm), and bicycles that will spend a good deal of time off the road do well with even larger tires.  These are generally recommendations and your particular situation–which I”m always happy to discuss–may vary.
