650B Wheels and Components

650B is an old wheelsize that never completely went away and has made a resurgence in recent years. A little bigger than most mountain bike wheels, and little smaller than most road wheels, the 650B size allows the use of wide tires and fenders without compromising frame design. I keep an extensive selection of 650B components in stock.

If you have questions about the wheelsize, or would like to convert a 700C bike to 650B please call me. For now, I'll leave it to others on the web to vouch for 650B wheels. I'll only say that I have three bikes one 700C, 650B, and one 26". But if I had to have only one bike, it would use the 650B wheelsize.

I keep a large selection of 650B rims that can be built with any hub of your choice. I also have plenty of 650B tires, tube and brakes suitable for 650B bikes. If you're building your own wheels, I keep spokes for 650B wheelbuilds in stock. These spoke lengths (268-278mm) are sometimes hard to find because they fall between the more popular 700C and 26" standards.
